Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and residing in Spain since the 1980s, he has dual nationality. Resident in Madrid, where he has worked since then in different areas of visual arts, graphic design, and illustration since then. During those years he actively participated in the so-called Movida Madrile\u00f1a. He engages in dialogue with different personalities of the moment and meets important figures from the world of visual arts such as the painter Juan Barjola, from whom he keeps an endearing \u00abletter of recommendation\u00bb from those times. He was a regular visitor to the circle of Fine Arts, where he carried out innumerable studies of drawing as well as painting; He attends the Pe\u00f1a de Madrid academy and works painting and making caricatures and landscapes in the \u201cParque Retiro de Madrid\u201d, an activity that continues to this day. At the same time, he carried out landscape studies with the painter Carmela Santamar\u00eda Juez. He will finish completing his training at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Complutense University of Madrid later. – In 1991 he began to work with PC and Mack computers, specializing in their various plastic possibilities and applying them to his illustrations. Some of them are available in catalog n\u00ba 10 of the image bank: SUPERBILD, international Bildarchiv – In 1994 he moved to the island of Mallorca where he collaborated as a Cartoons draftsman with the synthesis image laboratory of the University of the Balearic Islands, intervening in a 3D animation project. – At the same time, he dedicated those years to painting seascapes and carried out his activity as a cartoon painter on the island of Mallorca. Always with the pictorial vocation as a reference and without abandoning this activity, it will also collaborate with various Magazines and Editorials where it has published different illustrations: \u201cYEAR CERO.NEXT MILLENNIUM.DE LIBROS.ARTE PHOTOGRAFICO.ENIGMAS.EDITORIAL ANAYA.STOCK-PHOTO\u201d (Munich) etc, as well as a freelance graphic designer for different clients-like the AEA \u00abSpanish Association of Advertisers\u00bb among others.<\/a> Towards the end of the 90s, he returned to Madrid where he completed a Master in \u00abAdvertising Communication and the Media\u00bb at the private university ESIC. Meet personalities from the world of advertising and large multinational companies based in the capital and not inconsiderable, acquiring from these synergies a deeper knowledge about the laws of marketing, the business world, marketing, and advertising. Since then, he decides to dedicate himself almost exclusively to his painting in a silent or almost introverted way, knowing that what he fights for is his life, formulates his thesis on \u00abContemporary audiovisual contamination\u00bb and \u00abThe speech of noise\u00bb, where focuses on the main obstacle for creatives in the plastic medium. Make different group exhibitions in the USA and Spain With critical and public success. With a restless creative spirit and tireless in a permanent search for creation, Villanueva knows and masters different disciplines, integrates them in his artistic discourse, this being one of his main virtues since the \u00abresearch\u00bb he preaches is nourished by it. He has learned this in university chairs, and he does not cease in his eagerness to investigate visual language since both the art of today and that of tomorrow will urgently need it.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Nace en Buenos Aires, Argentina y reside en Espa\u00f1a desde la decada de los 80 ,  posee la doble nacionalidad.
Recidente en Madrid, donde trabaja, desde entonces en diferentes \u00e1mbitos de las artes pl\u00e1sticas, el dise\u00f1o gr\u00e1fico y la ilustraci\u00f3n desde entonces. Participa activamente durante aquellos a\u00f1os en la llamada Movida Madrile\u00f1a. Entabla dialogo con diferentes personalidades del momento, y conoce importantes figuras del mundo de la pl\u00e1stica como el pintor Juan Barjola <\/span>de quien guarda una entra\u00f1able \u201ccarta de recomendaci\u00f3n\u201d de aquellos tiempos. Fu\u00e9 asiduo visitante del c\u00edrculo de Bellas Artes lugar donde realiza innumerables estudios de dibujo as\u00ed como de pintura; Acude a la academia Pe\u00f1a de Madrid y trabaja pintando y realizando caricaturas y paisajes en el \u201cParque Retiro de Madrid\u201d actividad que mantiene en activo hasta hoy d\u00eda. Paralelamente realiza estudios de paisaje con la pintora Carmela Santamar\u00eda Juez. Terminara de completar su formaci\u00f3n en La facultad de Bellas Artes de la universidad Complutense de Madrid m\u00e1s tarde.
\u2013 En 1.991 comienza a trabajar con ordenadores PC y Mack, especializ\u00e1ndose en sus diversas posibilidades pl\u00e1sticas y aplic\u00e1ndolas en sus ilustraciones. Algunas de ellas se encuentran disponibles en el catalogo n\u00ba 10 del banco de imagen:SUPERBILD, international Bildarchiv
\u2013 En 1.994 Se traslada a la isla de Mallorca donde colabora como dibujante de Cartooms con el laboratorio de imagen de s\u00edntesis de la Universidad de las Islas Baleares, interviniendo en un proyecto de animaci\u00f3n 3D. \u2013 paralelamente dedica esos a\u00f1os a la pintura de paisaje marino y realiza su actividad como pintor de caricaturas en la isla de Mallorca. Siempre con la vocaci\u00f3n pict\u00f3rica como referente y sin abandonar esta actividad, Colaborar\u00e1 tambi\u00e9n con diversas Revistas y Editoriales donde tiene publicadas diferentes ilustraciones:

Hacia finales de aquellos a\u00f1os 90 regresa a Madrid en donde realiza un Master en \u201cComunicaci\u00f3n publicitaria y medios de comunicaci\u00f3n\u201d,en la universidad privada ESIC. Conoce personalidades del mundo de la publicidad y las grandes empresas multinacionales radicadas en la capital y nada desde\u00f1ables, adquiriendo de estas sinergias un conocimiento mas profundo acerca de las leyes de la mercadotecnia, el mundo empresarial, el marketing, y la publicidad.
Desde entonces decide dedicarse casi exclusivamente a su pintura de una manera silencios o casi introvertida, sabiendo que aquello lo por lo que lucha le va la vida, formula su tesis acerca de \u201cLa Contaminaci\u00f3n audiovisual contempor\u00e1nea\u201d y \u201cEl discurso del ruido\u201d, donde enfoca el principal obst\u00e1culo de los creativos del medio pl\u00e1stico. Realiza diferentes exposiciones colectivas en USA y Espa\u00f1a Con \u00e9xito de cr\u00edtica y publico.
De esp\u00edritu inquieto creativo e incasable en b\u00fasqueda permanente de la creaci\u00f3n, Villanueva conoce y domina diferentes disciplinas, las integra en su discurso pl\u00e1stico siendo esto una de sus principales virtudes, ya que de ello se nutre la \u201cinvestigaci\u00f3n\u201d que predica. Ha aprendido esto en las c\u00e1tedras universitarias, y no ceja en su af\u00e1n de indagar en el lenguaje visual, ya que tanto el arte de hoy como el de ma\u00f1ana, necesitara de ello imperiosamente.<\/p>\n\n\n
